Description

Lovely and choice Viking period bronze twisted bracelet, dating C. 10th-11th century AD. The bracelet is composed of four thick strands of bronze wire woven and four thin twisted threads passing through the bracelet in pairs into a tightly twisted weave with each end hammered flat. Has a fragmentary break of two thin strands, with partial losses. Has a turquoise color patina.
