The object in detail.

Iron weapon of the Ancient Near East and Eurasian nomads, dating C. 3rd-2nd century BC. Long solid rod with a narrow conical socket with reinforced ring. Triangular-shaped blade with two corners extended to barbs.

Length: 28,6 cm

Weight: 80 g

Provenance: Till 1965 in the private British collection of N.K. Since 1965 in a private British collection of Mr. W.L. Bought by the current owner in 2016 in London, from T.R. who had owned the item since 2000.

Offered in stable, well-preserved condition consistent with its age and burial history. Surfaces retain their original character; no modern restoration beyond conservation-grade stabilisation.
