The object in detail.

Viking period silver ring, dating C. 9th – 11th century AD. The ring is composed of a hoop, forming a large rhombus bezel, elaborately decorated with a geometric pattern on the border, central part depicting an interesting runic symbol.

Weight: 2,1 g

Provenance: Till 1970s in the private Netherlandic collection. Since the 1970s in private British collection of E.P. Was bought by the current owner in 2019 in London, from C.E., who had owned the item since 2012.

Offered in stable, well-preserved condition consistent with its age and burial history. Surfaces retain their original character; no modern restoration beyond conservation-grade stabilisation.
